End of the year Membership Items
Steps to be completed by May 31st:
· Check the Membership Enrollment Site for Duplicates
· Enter incoming officers
· Save a copy of your local units membership roster.

· Checking the Membership site for Duplicates
Log on to the site and click on the Membership Reports link on the top menu bar. Look on the left menu bar and click on Membership Roster. Scroll through the list of members and write down the ID numbers
of any duplicate members. Email support@wastatepta.org to have the duplicates removed.

If this is not done by May 31, 2008 your unit may receive an invoice for the duplicate members entered into your PTA’s roster.

· While on the Site Enroll Your 2008-2009 Officers

Write the ID numbers down for the new officers. Click on the 08/09 Incoming Officers link at the top of the screen. Enter the ID number for each officer in the appropriate field position. Click on the preview button and make sure the name matches the position, then click the submit button.

If this is not done, the State PTA office will not know the names of the new officers and we will not know where to send important information that is mailed out in July. If your PTA is unable to enter the incoming officers contact Melissa Anderson at support@wastatepta.org with their names,
positions and contact information. Make sure all incoming officers email address are current.

· Save copy of Membership Roster
Log on to the site and click on the Membership Reports link on the top menu bar. Look on the left menu bar and click on export roster. Save or print a copy of this year’s roster, this will assist your local unit in membership retention next year.


Note:
· Do not enter 2008-2009 members (other than officers) until after July 15th.
· Once officers are entered do not re-enter them when they pay their membership dues next PTA year (2008-09) Doing so will result in doubles names.
